Plan your Election Day - Get your Absentee Ballot Now!

Do you have your Election Day planned out? If you cannot get to your polling place on Election Day (Tuesday, November 6)  due to an "Illness or physical disability" or you "expect that my duties, occupation or business will require [you] to be absent ...from [your] municipality of [your] residence on the day of the election",  you still can vote in this important election.

You can apply for an absentee ballot.

(If your plans change and you are NOT absent from your municipality, you must go the your polling place to vote. Your absentee ballot which is now in the polling place is voided and you sign the poll book and vote on the machine.)

Deadlines:

Below are the deadlines, but don’t wait—do it early! You need to fill out the application ASAP because the Board of Elections needs to receive it ASAP so they can mail the ballot that you will vote on to you. After placing your votes on it, you must send it back ASAP to the Board of Elections because it must arrive in the Board of Elections office before 5PM on Friday, November 2nd. Sometimes, though, voted ballots returned just before the deadline do not make it to the polling place and, thus, won’t be counted!

Applications: The last day to apply for a civilian absentee ballot is 5:00 PM on the Tuesday before the election (Oct. 30th) - please note that POSTMARKS DO NOT APPLY and that ORIGINAL APPLICATIONS must be received (no facsimiles or emails).

Absentee Ballot Application and Instructions

Voted Ballots: All civilian voted ballots must be returned to the County Board of Elections Office by 5:00 PM on the Friday before the election (Nov. 2nd) - please note that POSTMARKS DO NOT APPLY. If hand delivering, only the actual voter may return their ballot.

Intell endorses Wagner… because he wrote a better essay?

It was stunning to see the Doylestown Intelligencer choose Wagner based on how well he could write an editorial (and follow the guidelines given). Seems to be an ill-informed way to endorse a politician.

From the outset, Wagner has refused to release his tax returns, afraid what his employees might think.

Scott Wagner gambled donor’s money in the stock market and lost more than a half a million dollars. This is a gross betrayal of his donors not to mention that losing money in an up market shows that he is not a prudent money manager.

That the Intell can choose Wagner right after he talks about stomping on Tom Wolf’s face with golf spikes shows their endorsement process to be unbalanced. Wagner's unnecessary rhetoric of violence shows him to be unsuited.

A sane endorsement process looks at the candidate, not just at the answers to questions.

Keep Free Speech Free!

Take Action Now: Stop Trump's New Laws to Crush Protests in Washington, D.C.

Say No to Trump's Plan to Crush Protests in the Nation's Capital.

New rules proposed by the Trump administration and Secretary of Interior Ryan Zinke will impose steep fees and costs on demonstrations in Washington, D.C; effectively ban protests on the White House sidewalks; force protesters to pay the costs of barricades erected at police discretion, park ranger wages and overtime, and harm to grass from standing on it; create waiting periods removing any obligation of the government to promptly process or approve permits; restrict and suppress spontaneous demonstrations that respond to breaking events; create hair-triggers allowing police to end protests for the most minor of issues; restrict sound and stagingban long term vigils or protest presences; make protesters pay for expensive "turf covers," among many other radical restrictions of free speech rights.
