Don't be fooled by No Labels

No Labels is loading up with a $300 million campaign of dark money to try to blind voters into thinking they are making a “sensible” choice. That they aren’t thinking about parties, they’re looking at the overall candidate, they say.

Trump supports aren’t looking for a “sensible” choice.

So, which voters is No Labels peeling off? Biden voters. They’re selling an impossible dream to the people out there who like to vote with their party, but know that Trump will destroy America if elected. When November comes around, every vote counts.

No Labels knows Trump has a ceiling and can't win without spoilers. So they've decided to be spoilers for him. It's that simple.

This race has and always will be Biden vs. Trump. Democracy vs. Dictatorship. America vs. Anarchy.

The Right is Abandoning Decency

Polling data again and again backs up the reality that the right is abandoning decency, and doing so in the most alarming of ways. It began happening almost immediately with white evangelicals. In 2011, they were the American cohort least likely to agree that a politician could commit immoral acts in private yet “still behave ethically and fulfill their duties in their public and professional life.” Yet in October 2016 — even before Trump’s upset victory over Hillary Clinton — white evangelicals had already changed their minds. They went from least likely to most likely to excuse the immoral behavior of politicians.

But that’s not the only change among Republicans. An increasing percentage are now tempted to embrace political violence. Last October, a startling 33 percent of Republicans (and an even larger 41 percent of pro-Trump Americans) agreed with the statement that “because things have gotten so far off track, true American patriots may have to resort to violence in order to save our country.” That percentage is far higher than the (still troubling) 22 percent of independents and 13 percent of Democrats who shared the same view.

Why elect women?

The most obvious reason is that most voters (51%) are women, and they deserve representation from legislators who think like they do. This is the reflective democracy we deserve. When women are elected to office, they bring attention to what are traditionally considered “women’s issues,” and also uplift the needs of other underrepresented communities in government. They deliver real results on issues that matter, and move our government towards diversity and inclusion for everyone.

Imagine if we had majorities of women in the State Houses.
