Doylestown Democrats are dedicated to electing Democrats at all levels of government. Our mission is to:

  • Elect qualified Democrats to municipal, county, state, and federal offices

  • Promote good government in the borough and township

  • Promote outreach to the larger community and affiliated groups

  • Cultivate potential Democratic candidates

  • Increase Democratic registrations 

  • Assist in Democratic turnout

  • Create a feeling of goodwill, fellowship, and community among its members

  • Create and maintain loyalty to the Democratic party, its values, and its issues

Organizational Structure

Executive Committee: Doylestown Democrats are led by an Executive Committee consisting of a Chairperson, two Vice Chairpersons (one for the borough and one for the township), Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer, Recording Secretary, and Corresponding Secretary.

Committee People: Committee people are the main communication link between the Bucks County Democratic Committee and Democrats in their voting district.  There are two committee people in each of 14 districts in the township and borough. Membership, Meetings, and Voting

Join the Doylestown Democrats!  General Meetings are held at the Doylestown Borough Hall and on Zoom at 7 pm on the first Monday of each month.  Those who attend three meetings in a year are eligible to vote in the following year.  

Organizational and Fundraising Opportunities 

There are many other ways to get involved announced at each monthly meeting, in our newsletter, and on our website.  To meet members at a social event, Thirsty Thursdays are held from 5 pm to 7 pm on the third Thursday of each month at Pag’s Pub.
