Running for Borough Mayor
Ron Strouse worked for the US House of Representatives for nearly six years and then changed direction, attended The Restaurant School and La Varenne in Paris and was chef and co-owner of two Bucks County restaurants/boutique hotels.
He grew up near Doylestown, graduated from Central Bucks High School and then American University.
Ron has served as president of the boards of Planned Parenthood of Bucks County (Keystone PP), the Bucks County Tourist Commission (Visit Bucks County), and the County Theater. He served as the chair of the Doylestown Human Relations Commission when it was established and also chaired the Doylestown Revitalization Board. He chairs the new Central Bucks Police Foundation and has returned to the Board of the County Theater.
Ron was elected Mayor in 2013.
