Here, we profile our candidates running in this year's Municipal elections.

As you can see, we have a full slate of candidates for the Borough and the Township. That is wonderful, but also means we will need an army of people to help with the campaigns.

Jennifer herring

Township Supervisor

Fifteen years ago Jennifer Herring and her husband, Karl, settled into their first home in Doylestown Township to start a family. Jennifer fell in love with the community, the character of our township and the surrounding natural beauty.

Samuel Kolodney

Township Tax Collector

 As a resident of Doylestown Township since 2000, Samuel Kolodney is proud to call this community his home. He and his spouse Kelly are grateful for a wide array of world class public amenities and services offered in Doylestown that have made it easy to raise their two children to be responsible, self sufficient, and civically engaged adults.

Dan Wood

Township Supervisor

Dan Wood is a lifelong Central Bucks resident who attended Kutz Elementary, Lenape, and CB West where he participated in track, marching band, and the Boy Scouts of America, obtaining the rank of Eagle Scout.

Ron Strouse

Borough Mayor

Ron Strouse worked for the US House of Representatives for nearly six years and then changed direction, attended The Restaurant School and La Varenne in Paris and was chef and co-owner of two Bucks County restaurants / boutique hotels.

Michelle Crunkleton

Borough Tax Collector

Michelle Crunkleton grew up in Bucks County, lived in New York City after graduating from Rutgers University, and moved to Doylestown Borough ten years ago.

 

Ben Bell

Borough Council Ward 1

Ben Bell has been a Doylestown Borough resident since 2002. He and his spouse, Judith Fraivillig, raised their three children here, each of whom attended Central Bucks schools.

Noni West

Borough Council Ward 1

Noni West is an incumbent Borough Council member.

John Kaminski

Borough Council Ward 2

John Kaminski has been a PA resident since 2003 and a Doylestown Borough resident since 2016. John is married to Melissa Regan, and has two daughters and three step sons.

Jack O'Brien

Borough Council Ward 2

Jack was elected to Borough Council in 2013 and took office in January 2014.  He currently serves as the chairman of the Public Safety Committee. He also serves as a member of the Public Works Committee and the Finance and Pension Committee.

Sue Gordon

Borough Council Ward 2

Sue Gordon is an incumbent Borough Council member. 

 

Joe Frederick

Borough Council Ward 3

Joe Frederick is an incumbent Borough Council member.
